Patience and Perseverance
July 2022
“To lose patience, is to lose the battle.” ~ Mahatma Gandhi
Rome was not built in a day. This famous proverb has always been a landmark quote to help understand the importance of being patient.
As we move on with the academic session, it is observed that a number of challenges in the form of health issues, academic concerns, learning gaps, etc. is being faced by parents, students and mentors. The two years of pandemic has shown the world that adversity can teach us the impossible. It has made us more digitalisedand has brought the world closer to our homes. Along with the benefits, the pandemic had numerous minuses especially from the academics point of view. With almost two years of online classes, unsynchronisedlessons and no appropriate daily routine most of us are coming in terms of the challenge that all had known might occur but did not realize would look like this, until now. For a child, education is a continuous process and gaps or intervals of any duration is detrimental.
Hence all stakeholders are requested to avoid taking any kinds of unnecessary breaks for vacations, outings or functions to avoid widening of the gap already caused by the pandemic. All are also implored to be patient and help school assist students work consistently towards excellence.
School expects parents and teachers to team up to help the child recuperate the loss suffered during the last two years. Handwritings will improve, slow writers will start writing promptly and academic excellence will be achieved but not in a day. Till then, let’s all be patient and give the child the time to deepen their roots and spread their wings under the protective and supportive care of parents, teachers and school.
Have an amazing August!
