Nurturing Punctuality for Success
August 2022
"Time is the only capital that any human has and the only thing that he/she cannot afford to lose."
- Albert Einstein
Dear Parents & Students,
The patriotism displayed by each of my children in all the activities conducted on the occasion of 75 years of Independence was a delightful event to witness. My heartfelt thanks to all the parents for their cooperation and support. As we begin a new month that marks the completion of almost half of the academic session, let's understand the importance of being punctual and the importance of time in one's life
Punctuality is not about being on time but about respecting one's own commitment to someone or something. When you are asked or expected to be somewhere at a particular time, it implies evidently that if you fail to be there at that particular time, either you will lose something or the person or event will, who has trusted you with something important.
What you will lose may be in any form like an opportunity to learn something new, to showcase your talent, or any other bigger opportunity that might decide your overall achievement in life. The different scenario might be when you have been trusted to promote, perform or just show up for an event or a person. In such a case, if you are late, you will not only lose that person's trust but will also build an impression of being careless and irresponsible as you have not ascertained your reliability by your presence on time. You may also miss a lot of fun as well.
Hence, students, as you get prepared for your life, do develop the virtue of punctuality as one of your best qualities that will undoubtedly be the first step to success. Small steps like making a daily routine, avoiding procrastination, leaving for school on time, and completing a scheduled task at the planned time are a few guidelines that will help in the process of inculcating punctuality in us
Parents are requested to help school inculcate this valuable virtue of ounctuality in the kids from an early age to help them combat the future challenges that life will fling at them with utmost confidence.
Have a Stupendous September!
Thank you,
Regards,
Mrs Ratula Saha,
